An Xbox original game not working

Okay I bought a new spider-man 2 an old original Xbox game and it won't work in my 360 it's updated and I have 2 original Xbox 360 hard drives but it's the only original Xbox game that doesn't work

Considering how cheap it is and it's through a third party seller, not Amazon, it is highly likely it is a knock-off. If you can get access to another one, try playing another compatible game just to make sure it's not the game itself. Otherwise, it's definitely
a hard drive issue.

Taking another look at the pictures, looking at the packaging for it, it's definitely a knock-off. You would have to purchase an official hard drive in order to play the game.

 

Original Xbox games not working

If it is an official hard drive then you could have a problem with the xbox dashboard software. You might be able to fix it by following the instructions here

What region is your Xbox in? Spider-Man 2 works for NTSC and PAL regions.

Are you getting an error code when you boot up the game on your system?

You say other XBox games work, which are they?

 

NTSC and mortal Kombat both of them burnouts and a few others

 

Is the game disc operational? You've tried it with both hard drives and it won't start up? What size are the hard drives? You may have an illegitimate Xbox 360 hard drive, which won't always have the emulator to play certain XBox games.

Try
clearing the cache on your Xbox 360 three times and try the game again.

Did you clear your system cache's three times? After that, restart your Xbox and try to boot up your Spider-Man 2 game. Try booting up the game in these scenarios:

• Try booting it up with one hard drive and then another hard drive.
• Try booting it up without signing into your profile.
• If possible, try it on another Xbox 360.

 

Nothing worked I don't understand why

What kind of Xbox 360 do you have? (Xbox
360 Original, Xbox 360 S, Xbox 360 E?)

How much space is on your hard drive(s)? That will find out if it's a legitimate hard drive. Or the game may not work.

 

When you bought the hard drive, it came with that much space? I mean how much space in the drive altogether? You could see how much space it has by looking on the top of the hard drive.

 

Must be 20 HDD, they came with your Xbox 360 when you bought it?

You had used the game with another Xbox 360, the same thing persisted?

 

Don't have another xbox 360

 

Are you getting an error code when you use it? Maybe it's the game in particular, but without another Xbox 360, I can't exactly be sure. Try returning the game to wherever you bought it and explain the issue you're having. Maybe ser if they can test it out
on another Xbox 360.
