    An option to change the Clip Capture button to be a Partychat/gamechat toggle button. On pc...


    I’ve personally accidently hit the clip button more than i have on purpose to clip something. An option in settings to change it to other things would be nice. Like a party/game chat toggle! Easy access to game chat instead of having to access it through the party. Like discord on pc.

    Ok,

    you first need to activate GameChat for your Stream (Mixer),

    its a bit tricky, you have Audio Options for your Partychat, GameChat and StreamAudio.on Xbox.

    Check out that all is active.

    Sadly, so far it is not possible to disable this button but a workaround that might help you is to disable the GAME DVR.

    To disable Xbox Game DVR on your Xbox One, hit the Xbox button and head to Settings. Joystick down to ‘Preferences, then select ‘Capture & share’. Toggle the first option, ‘Allow game captures’, from ‘Captures by me or games’ to ‘Don’t capture’ to disable Xbox Game DVR. Alternatively, you can toggle this option to ‘Captures by me’.

    Is there a way to contact m$ support about it? This seems like a useful option to have, you can map the button to a lot of other things, why not this?

    Hi. Unfortunately there is no way to do so. You'll have to stick to using the Xbox button.

    if you recorded the clip by pressing the Xbox button then pressing X then you can upload it to One Drive by going to the Recent Captures on your Xbox, selecting the clip you want to upload then selecting See All Sharing Options
