Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Your friend may have changed the language of their console or Xbox profile to Spanish. This can affect the status that appears on your friends list. To change the language, follow these steps:



- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & System > Settings > General > Language & Location.

- Choose your preferred language.

- Restart your console.

I see, thank you for your reply, they probably did as you said, and made it that way when they made their account.

If they didn`t add a zone when creating their account it will say none.

I doubt very much someone would mod their account to just say none.

He has probably blocked you.

Are you able to talk to him via message?
