Sometimes suspensions don't automatically clear. Try power-cycling you console:

Like our friend mentioned, sometimes it is needed to power-cycle your console:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Make sure that you wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn it on.

You can also try to Sign-out and Sign-in on your account.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. I've immediately appealed the suspension once I was aware of it, and after 2 days of being wrongfully suspended, the suspension has been lifted.

You do not have a permanent suspension. By the looks of it, you had a communications suspension on 6/22 that has already been lifted. If the suspension was still in place it would have a date for when it ends.

You can find more details regarding any suspensions for an account by signing into that account's
Enforcement History.

In addition, suspensions are lifted at the same time of day as they were issued, so they may not lift right away on the day that the suspension is up. Are you still seeing that message when you try to send a message now, to clarify?
