Ambassadors

You hit the nail on the head there, often I will sit typing my answer and submit it. Then see that simeone else has posted pretty much the same response at the same time. In those instances I either delete my post or edit it to add another possible solution
I may have thought of after making my original post.

Personally I try to follow any posts I made for a day or two in order to see how things go but that’s just me.

I don’t think anyone should be knocked for trying to help and I suspect in most instances it’s the newer members of the Ambassador program who are keen to help. Given time and guidance from the other Ambassadors they will learn the ropes and go on to be
great members of the program.

 

I've seen year old threads bumped with an ambassador response that contributes nothing. I've seen 100% incorrect information posted as well. It's frustrating.

 

if already answered I move on, unless there is something else to add, or a better way of explaining something.

I understand newer ambassadors are keen to help, I know we all had to start somewhere but unless you are sure (yes we all make mistakes) don't post. It not only frustrates the person seeking help but it can also reflect negatively on the Ambassador program.

 

I think we have enough replies from Ambassadors here explaining this phenomenon and so I am going to lock this thread now. The greatest irony of all, considering the question asked, is that there are over a dozen replies in this thread without OP replying.
