Amazon Cancels Xbox All Access

Which is a partial relief. Didnt end up gettinf a pre order though. Hopefully more are released!

I also received this email, and I chatted with a Microsoft rep. We had a bit of a language barrier, but I believe he understood the issue, and his response seemed to be that it should not be an issue to switch retailers, mail your Xbox One to them, and
sign up for the upgrade to Series X. In other words, the All Access program seems to be tied to Citizens One, and your account can essentially be ported over to any other retailer. I hope this is the case. The rep also sent me this link https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-all-access/upgrade
which allows you to check your upgrade eligibility. If you are eligible, you'll see a "Purchase Xbox Series X/S" button, which brings you to a screen where you can choose a retailer. This is as far as I got. I clicked on both Best Buy and Target, but neither
has an option to cash in on the upgrade, but I believe that is because I am in a time zone ahead of EST. I am hoping when I visit these pages later, they will have officially rolled out their Series X pre-order page, and hopefully this has an All Access upgrade
option as well. Anyway, hope this helps.

Inwould call amazon instead and verify it. There are going to be people trying to get your financial information using this.

What is most likely here is that they dint have enough systems coming for the orders taken. Can you post the text? Please be sure to leave out any eprsonal information such as your name, email order number, or financial info.

I feel like microsoft should be on the hook for accepting the transfer orders that they had fulfilled on Amazon here. If the terms were that upgrades would be available through amazon on the release, and now this has fallen through, Microsoft should be fulfilling
these orders in their queue before opening them to the general public.

Any help here is NEEDED since this has impacted so many users.

Microsoft better allow you to maintain the sane rights under your contract or there will be a lot of pissed off people who become sony fans for life
