    Xbox One overheating issue

    Sounds like you may have a bad fan. It really only has one giant fan and a BIG heatsink, so if the fan isn't working, it will overheat quickly.

    I want to get one, I really do, but with MS's growing conceitedness and attitude, it's turning me off to their next gen console. I'm no fanboi, but I was (and am to an extent) an xbox fan. While I'm no big Sony fan, I am giving serious consideration to
    the PS4. I'll just have to sit and wait to see to determine anything at this point.
