    Am I stupid?


    I was playing Minecraft this morning and everything was working perfectly. I was on (removed) and went to the (removed) store, bought gems, and then restarted my Minecraft Launcher for the game to reset. When I opened the launcher a pop-up message kept saying, "Oh no! Something went wrong and we couldn't connect to the Microsoft services. Please connect to the internet to refresh your offline access." I refreshed my wifi and it still came up, I uninstalled the launcher and the game, downloaded it back and now it says I have to buy the game. This troubled me because I have Ultimate Gamepass meaning I can have pc and Xbox games. Last I checked as well, Minecraft was still a Gamepass game. So I refreshed my wifi and the launcher, and the same message where you go to press to play, "Buy now"

    In addition, I also logged out of my account, refreshed my pc, refreshed the game, uninstalled it and re-installed it again. And it still says "Oh no! Something went wrong and we couldn't connect to the Microsoft services. Please connect to the internet to refresh your offline access."

    Someone please help me

    I downloaded the launcher off the Minecraft website, I don't use any mods in the game or any third-party providers. I've always played through the Minecraft launcher downloaded from their website

    well I would say that you're unauthorized third-party launcher and market would be the root of your problem

    Modding can cause all kinds of unforeseen problems, and I highly recommend that you never do it outside of developer approved mechanisms, and can even lead to bans.

    if you don't find it in the Minecraft store you shouldn't be installing it is a good rule of thumb. if I were you I would remove all unauthorized software and reinstall the game
