Am I cursed? Microphone not working.

Let me explain my situation. All i want to do is use my microphone on an xbox. I have owned around 4 xboxes the past couple months because ive been flipping them for fun. Every single one i have, the microphones do not work. I have tried 5 different headphones, sennheiser 450bt, bose quiet comfort (some old model), 2 different apple earphones, and some genuine xbox headphones. Non work. All of them work on other devices perfectly fine. So if headphones aren't the issue, controller must be then? I've used over 5 different controllers and they all do the same thing. Yeah so what about device settings then? I have watched all the tutorials, ive read every forum about all the steps i need to take to make it work. Ive done all of them. Is there anything else im missing? I forgot to add. When i use the apple earphones, there is a high pitched noise when i turn up mic monitoring. All the other audio devices are silent. Im not sure if that means anything. Any help greatly appreciated

1. If possible, create a temporary Xbox account and test with your headphones and controllers on one of the consoles. This helps rule out potential issues with your main account's settings or restrictions.

2.Factory Reset (With Caution): Perform a factory reset on one of your consoles, ensuring you choose the option to keep your games and apps. Warning: Back up any important data before proceeding. This could fix software-related issues but use it as a last resort.

3.Firmware Update: Update the firmware on each of your Xbox controllers individually. This may fix compatibility conflicts if an outdated version is the culprit. You can do this through an Xbox console or via a Windows PC using the Xbox Accessories app.

4. Test your setup in a different room or location and temporarily switch off other devices that could cause electromagnetic interference (routers, other wireless devices, etc.).

5.Microphone Port Check: With the console powered off, closely examine the headset port on one of the controllers. Look for any signs of damage, corrosion, or debris that could be causing connection issues.

No you were banned for cursing back (which breaks the rules as well). If you didnt cuss back then you wouldn't be banned. Only the other person would be and youd still be on your merry way without a ban.

As they teach you in grade school it doesnt matter who started it.

Then I bought Modern Warfare 2.

Now I am cursing way more often than ever.

Call of Duty trained me to curse...
