Am I able to download Gears 5 if I bought it on xbox?

Its a Play Anywhere title so yes you can play it on your PC in the Xbox app. It won’t play on Steam

You will need to be running Windows 10 and have it up to date.

Sign in to the Microsoft Store and Search for Gears 5 and you should be able to download it.

Do make sure that you're logged in to the same microsoft account that is assosciated with the Gamertag that purchased Gears 5 on Xbox - you should then see it in your available downloads on the Microsoft Store on PC. Hope this helps, cheers!

If you bought the game as a digital version then you can just download it through the Xbox Store, because its a Play Anywhere Title.

Did you purchase the game on disc or a digital copy from the Microsoft store? If it was a disc, then you will have to pay for the game again, as Xbox Play Anywhere only works with digital games. If it was a digital copy from the Microsoft Store, then logging
in on Windows 10 with the same account that purchased will let you download it to your Windows 10 device.
