Always Problems with Xbox Live Core Services

As of now, the service alert has been lifted. You should be able to sign in normally now. There have been issues with Halo reach, that were also on the game server side. I will go ahead and lock this thread as it was due to issue with service alert.

Its been a month now that i have had issues signing in, not being able to get passed the green load screen for 30+ minutes, not being able to save progress and my console is 2 months old! I am at my wit's end with this bs.

The games you've mentioned (especially the Halo: Reach re-release) are all games that require very hefty servers for their online interactions. The issue itself isn't so much Xbox Live itself as it is the initial bouncing traffic back and forth from Xbox
Live communicating with the game and then the game communicating with its servers. Often time its hard for a game's developer and the IT-specialists who's jobs it is to monitor and aid in sever traffic and maintenance to adequately judge just how much traffic
will come through on the day of a big game's release. While it can be stressing and inconvenient, I've had the issues with Halo: Reach all day too, we as gamers need to realize we're human and so are the people who run the servers our online services are built
on.

Everything gets fixed in due time for the most part, and the people responsible have really hard job. Cutting them some slack and being patient goes a long way.

If it's been going for a while let Microsoft know.

I personally dont have problems with signing in . So it could be a specific problem to were you are the servers that are used .

Possibly 🤔 raise a ticket with them make them aware of your issues.

always check xbox live status it will show issues with core services purchases etc
