    Always Appearing Offline on Xbox Live (PC)


    I always seem to be appearing offline on Xbox Live to my friends, even when I appear Online in the Xbox app, game bar, and anywhere else (to myself). How can I fix this? Thanks!

    Hi all - I've managed to solve the issue! Sadly the solution was by far the most obvious one - there was a privacy setting on Xbox.com that decided who could see my Online status, and it was set to Blocked! I did try looking at these settings earlier but must have missed this one. Thanks all for all your help!

    Hi there Matthew welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. This might be due to an app glitch! I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

    I'm not exactly sure how to fix this or why this happens but I have had some similar problems. One of the things that's caused this for me is the Xbox live services being down or having some issues and I've had friends tell me I'm offline when I know I had just went online if you wait you'll show up as online for them and it may be your privacy settings causing this issues, hope this helps and if not let me know!
