Already completely installed and updated cod mw2 game on Xbox one, played now...

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

As per Xbox support: "This may mean that either the game is updating or there's a game corruption issue. This can happen with both digital and disc-based games."

To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I appreciate the reply, but I have already done all these things. It still won’t install. I am using a digital download. I have 4 Xboxes in 4 different rooms and all have COD on them and had no problems until COD had a game update a few weeks ago. Two Xboxes ( both Xbox ones ) have Successfully installed the update and I have been able to play normally., but my new series x and my other Xbox one will not load nor install the game. It’s so frustrating.

Game must be easy if I can complete it on veteran as Im rubbish at COD. This and MW2 are the only ones I have completed on Veteran , the others I have no chance.

Did you even PLAY mw2? Do you have selective memory?

MW3 has far less glitches than MW2, and almost all of them have been patched already. Clan tag glitch, an update to lag compensation to make it better, and stat loss prevention are coming in the next update, and FMG9 rebalancing is coming in a hotfix.

I don't think this game takes a huge step forward for the series, and I'm a bit disappointed by that. I wish they took some of the improvements treyarch made. However, it's still damn fun, and there's a lot of subtle changes as well as bigger ones that distinguish
it from MW2.

battlefield doesnt have free for all and yes i like the cod games..just not the last 2 especially mw2..if you or anyone else played cod 4 at its peak you would understand why i dont like mw2...cod 4 was near on perfection..then it became arcade with mw2..its
not sour grapes its the way they turned it towards arcade to make more money from the kids that play it..to me they have completely ruined it and what makes it worse is they promised a back to basics like a cod 4 game with gun on gun but thats was total crap...
