Alpha Skip Ahead update fails on first attempt to reboot the console but 2nd attempt works

Hi,

the last two updates on my Series X console in Alpha Skip Ahead failed on the first attempt. The download steps works fine and the verification step completes too, but when the console is restarting the console tries to shutdown and keeps blinking slowly after a while it stops but then the console won't restart itself to apply and finish the update. I have to power on the console myself which results in the verification step being done again and if that completes the console will restart it self properly to apply the update and all is good again. This has happend now for the last 2 updates.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?
The console was set to Energy save mode and haven't touched any of those settings for ages.
