Alpha Skip Ahead, possible Disc issues.

Is anyone else experiencing issues playing Disc based games on the latest update?

My console all of a sudden refused to recognise any disc I inserted.

Hard reset multiple times, changed orientation of console from vertical to horizontal, no change. Disc drive would just spin up and stop straight away. Sometimes it would pop the dirty disc message.

At this point I thought my console was faulty and that the disc drive had just failed. (My one X disc drive suffered a hardware failure less than a year after purchase, so I kind of assumed that was what was happening again as the symptoms were almost identical.)

I uneroled from the Insider builds, popped in a game and it loaded up straight away, so seems like the Insider build was the culprit after all.

Unfortunately I was unable to report it through the console as I had reverted to the public build by the time I realised that it was an ASA build issue and not a hardware failure.

I have had issues recently with this, as I'm in Alpha Skip-Ahead, so it is a possibility its that.

In the alpha skip ahead, still no update. "Alpha Skip Ahead" clearly means something else... :')

Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead

I had this one also i think it's only availble for some xbox insiders in the highest build (alpha skip ahead) i just deleted the message and never replied to the person who sended me that message
