Alpha Skip Ahead - No audio in Final Fantasy XV, unable to record game clips and streaming...

I'm having a weird intermittent audio bug with Final Fantasy XV.

I turn on my Xbox One X from a complete shutdown (today was after the dashboard update), start Final Fantasy XV, connect my headset to my Xbox controller and no game audio works.

Audio from the guide/dashboard still works. I can take screenshots but game clips won't record. Trying to record makes the notification appear but when I open it all I see is "Check back soon! We're getting your clip ready.", but the clip never shows.

Pressing "start recording" instead of making a preset clip doesn't work either. The notification appears but no recording starts.

I decided to see if the audio would work on a stream so I opened the Xbox Console Companion app on Windows 10 and started streaming. The game immediately crashed to dashboard and the stream was frozen showing the last thing I saw in game. After a few seconds the stream automatically shut itself off.

The notes mention audio issues from Dolby Atmos and 120hz which I am using, but that only mentions issues with 12 bit colour depth when my Xbox is only set to 8 bit.

To further test things I completely restarted my Xbox through the guide option, relaunched FF XV with my headset disconnected, loaded my save and then plugged my headset in. I had game audio for a few seconds until the game stuttered and I lost all audio. Game clips are also failing to record again.

I retested streaming to Windows 10, unplugged my headset from my Xbox controller back into my PC and the game audio was working in the stream. I stopped the stream and when I plugged my headset back into my controller there was audio for a few seconds until the game stuttered and audio stopped working again.

I opened the guide to try and record a clip and the "X to record a clip" prompt wasn't showing, but the screenshot option was. Manually choosing to record a clip shows "We can't capture right now Check again soon. (0x82323023)".

With the game running I decided to try switching my audio settings to stereo to see if that would fix it and for some reason my Xbox was set to Windows Sonic instead of Atmos. I switched to stereo anyway, went back to FFXV and the game crashed.

Went back into settings to enable Atmos and it acted like I didn't have Atmos and made me use the app to reenable it. After that I relaunched FFXV and have audio and clip recording again.

Several of the bugged clips have now somehow uploaded to Xbox Live and they have no audio. I downloaded them to my PC and checked the files properties and in several of them the audio section is blank. There's no audio track at all. The only one with an audio track doesn't have any audio that I can hear.
