    Alpha Skip Ahead Issue - Xbox Upgrade from 21306 to 21309 Bricks Console


    My Alpha skip ahead Xbox normally downloads updates automatically, but when 21309 was released it didn't take two night ago. So I manually ran the update three times, but that didn't work. I next tried to factory reset it so that I could at least log back into the Xbox, but after I attempted to do a factory reset, it began to throw E106 errors. Because I'm on Insider, I can't use the OSU (admittedly, I tried Alpha Skip Ahead Issue - Xbox Upgrade from 21306 to 21309 Bricks Console :) to do so) so because I can't restore factory defaults, I'm dead in the water.

    Right now my OS Version is 21306.1003.amd64fre.rs_Xbox_dev_flight.210202-2245

    Well if he's in the insider programn then he got a update today had the same issue the alpha & apha skip ahead builds are broken for 50% of the people that are ih that group so don't update your console if you're in alpha or alpha skip ahead

    Hi, The new avatar update or upgrade is being tested now by the Alpha Skip Ahead/Alpha insiders, so it shouldn't be too long before it is released to everyone.

    In the alpha skip ahead, still no update. "Alpha Skip Ahead" clearly means something else... :')

    HELP I Have un enrolled from skip ahead alpha but can't get out 1 week later?

    If you have unenrolled from the Alpha or Alpha Skip Ahead, the console will be marked in the Microsoft database for unenrollment.

    However, if the System wasn't factory reset, the Alpha/Skip Ahead Software is still installed.

    You might have to download an
    OSUDT to an USB stick     and do a factory reset with a fresh system install from USB.

    Klick on the link above and follow the instructions for updating your console offline (the tile on the right).
