Alpha skip ahead has gone ...long story

Hi. I was lucky enough to get a series X at launch I was on alpha skip ahead but a few months ago it kept overheating so I sent it back to Microsoft to fix they sent it back to me it was fine for a few days then did it again so I thought I'd send it back but console wasn't showing up on the repair website only accessory so I had a idea, I'll send it back to very (where I purchased it from ) and they told me they would replace it ...they didnt they don't have any In stock so they gave me credit so I went back to my Xbox one X ( alpha skip ahead ) then thought I'd get a series s to bind me over till I get a series X again , so I did I installed the Xbox insider app and it won't give me the option to go back to skip ahead only alpha ..... I thought it's cause I haven't got a series X ok I'll wait till I get one

I got lucky and cane across one so im now back on series X ...and can yet again only select alpha not alpha skip ahead

And I'm wondering if it's because I've swapped a lot of consoles over the last few months ? Why can't I go back to alpha skip ahead ?
