    Alpha Ring - Problems with secondary/Alt Accounts on Xbox Series X


    I am having issues with my secondary/alt/Child accounts on the Xbox Series X since the latest update on the Alpha ring. I have been seeing consistent freezing and sound dropouts only on these accounts in various games (Minecraft and Wobbly life for example), but not my primary account, it’s been functioning fine.

    Also, the Xbox will not keep these secondary accounts saved on the Xbox for a future log in, which is an issue for my kids. Whenever they sign out or restart the Xbox those accounts disappear and we have to renter their email and password in order to sign back into their accounts.

    I have done a factory reinstall, logged this with support and logged this in the “report a problem” on the Xbox. No solution has been found. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue.

    Note: No issues have been seen with my primary auto login account, only secondary accounts.

    At this point in time, the shopping cart feature has been removed. I am in Alpha SA ring on my X and Alpha ring on my S. Just double checked the store and it is not there at the moment.

    You have to be in the insider preview to download the avatar beta app. It works on the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. It is not rolled out by console model but by which Insider Preview ring you are in. It has now been rolled out to all
    rings.

    Insider Preview has Alpha Skip Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega rings. Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha are invite only from the development team. You can use any Xbox One family of console in any of the rings.
