Alpha Ring - HDMI CEC issue with Sony 65X95J

Just got the X95J, was messing with CEC, and it works with one exception: while using the TV remote, the option to select home from the device menu options of the Xbox does not work, so I can't exit apps. Really, none of the menu commands work. Was curious if anyone else had this issue in general or specifically with this TV ...

    Xbox error code: 0x87e10004

Is it something that will be fixed? It has something to do with copyrights etc.

It's for the same reason i left the Alpha ring. On the stable releases it works (for now).

Its been skipped on every reddit thread by MS.

I use my xbox one daily to stream my switch to my pc. It was always working great until an update in march-april. It should be possible to read the CEC of the devices on the HDMI in and make a whitelist. At least for other consoles.

Xbox One Passthrough work when off?

I don't know what anynet is, nor do I know if "HDMI control" and HDMI-CEC are the same thing, but HDMI-CEC is supported according to MS.

One Guide and Windows Media Center PC (HTPC)

Most PC Graphics Cards if any Do Not Support CEC so it's unlikely you will be able to change channel using Windows Media centre via HDMI. You can However buy CEC adapter like this. www.pulse-eight.com/.../usb-hdmi-cec-adapter

if you join the insider program what ring would you want to be in if your not in it

I'm currently in the Alpha Ring. On one hand, I think it'd be cool to be in the Alpha Skip Ahead Ring, but at the same time the potential issues makes me a bit nervous. I know we, as Insiders, are supposed to test features out, but sometimes I just want
to play and the Alpha Ring has been good to me so far.
