    Alpha - No Sound at all after Update


    I was watching movie, and Xbox Series X forced me to update to continue watching. When it came back on I get no Audio at all. Not TV. Not Headset. They Series X does still play the Start Up sound, but there is zero sound once it gets to the Dashboard. All settings remain the same. Guess be playing Nintendo or Playstation until this get fixed. I kinda need audio to enjoy anything.

    I joined the inside program, then I change the system update to alpha cycle. this version has fixed FFXV sound issue.

    The last official update that was released to everyone was on August 13th:

    Sounds to me like you received an Insider update; possibly Alpha or Alpha Skip Ahead:

    In the meantime, I would try a hard reset. All you have to do is hold the power button until the console turns off (it should only take about 10 seconds). After that, turn it back on and see if the problem is still there.

    Alpha zombie always had a throwing knife, even after the update to take them out.

    This has supposedly been fixed, along with a bunch of other stuff, in an update that's available for people in the preview program (alpha ring) now.

    So, if you're in the alpha ring, check for updates and you should see it there ready to install.

    If you're not in the alpha ring, or you're not in the preview program at all, I expect they'll roll out an update with a bunch of fixes in it to the public fairly soon.

    Are you on the insiders program because that sounds famikiar to a bug I have but is because I am on the alpha ring of the xbox so by the time it gets a main strem update it should be fixed...
