Allowing multiplayer on my microsoft account on PC

OK, so we have managed to get rid of the parent controls, but I still can't enter Multiplayer, even though I have set the Multiplayer settings in my Microsoft account to be allowed

I allowed all privacy settings like you suggested but am still having the issue.

I got the game's multiplayer to work using the same Microsoft account on another PC, so the problem is definitely stemming from an Xbox Live client-side setting on my home PC.

I reinstalled the Xbox App, Game Bar, and Microsoft Store with no luck in-game. Fresh out of ideas...

Check your privacy settings under your Microsoft account to see if it allows for multiplayer.

The world you play on check to see if it is set to allow for multiplayer or not, it does sometimes seem to change that settings aswell.
