    Allowing Cross-Platform Play on Minecraft


    Hi, I have one son on PS4 and one on an Android tablet. I need to change some security settings to allow them to play together on Minecraft. I did find a help page, but the link for the settings I needed just linked to the same page. Can someone give me the link to change the outlook account settings to allow them to play together please? Thanks Martin

    Playstation currently doesn't allow cross platform play with Xbox yet.

    As for playing against PC players, you will need a game that supports cross platform play.

    Examples for such games are:

    • Minecraft (the one without the "Xbox One Edition" in the name, and the Windows 10 Minecraft version. Java Minecraft on PC won't work).
    • The Forza games on PC like Forza 7, Forza Horizon 3
    • Sea of Thieves
    • Gears of War 4
    • State of Decay 2
    Most other games from other publishers (i.e. not Microsoft Game Studios) are probably unable to play cross platform. So you won't be able to play FIFA or Call of Duty with your PC friends.

    Yes and no. The game in question needs to have cross-platform enabled, like Fortnite or Minecraft.

    Games that do not support cross-play you will not be able to play with other platforms.

    Hello in order to play cross platform on Xbox you need to go into the settings in the Fortnite game and select the Allow cross platform play option. He should be good to go after that!
