    Allow Usage of Bitstream out on a Monitor eventhough it does not support it


    Hello everyone,
    A few notes on my setup: Astro A 50 Headset, Samsung Odyssey G5 Monitor, HDMI Audio Extractor inbetween both devices

    When I try to choose Bitstream Out as Audio Output the Xbox won't let me. It is only allowed when the Display override is set to HDMI. But when It is set to HDMI I cannot choose 1440p@120 only 1440p@60 or 1080p@120. I would be great if you could introduce a feature where you can set the Audio Output to Bitstream regardless if the monitor supports it or not.

    Monitor with 120hz and VRR

    Does your monitor support both VRR and 120Hz on Xbox? I have read that only specfic monitors out there support both enabled. For awhile the VRR was only supported at 60Hz but there are some monitors now that will allow you to enable both VRR and 120Hz.

    1. HDMI audio (stereo uncompressed, 5.1 uncompressed, 7.1 uncompressed, Bitstream out)

    2. Optical audio (Off, Stereo uncompressed, Bitstream out)

    -if u select Bitstream out (DTS Digital Surround, Dobly Digital)

    Hi

    When I checked the Q&A section against this monitor someone has said that an Xbox One X will work on this monitor. Additionally it looks like this monitor does not support HDR and in my opinion I think any monitor / television you intend to use should also
    support HDR to allow you to get the best out of your new console.

    There is no "HDMI stereo" output option, there's "Stereo uncompressed", "5.1 uncompressed", "7.1 uncompressed" and "Bitstream out" in the manual and in online reviews it says the monitor has built in 2w speakers.

    My xbox still does not show a dolby option in the optical out on my settings. The Dolby 5.1 and 7.1 options are there for the HDMI out option though. Bitstream is off though. Do the options show up in bitstream?
