gamers should be able to dispose of their unwanted games in a manner that benefits them.

i personally dont want to have all theses games i dont play anymore and sits there and in the digital form of garbage.

cd version costs same as the digital copy and u cant even sell the digital copy.

many games people buy they wont know until they play if they like the game or not

everyone should have the rites to be able to sell ur own property .

and im pretty sure there is alot more people like myself than yourself agree with this .

I understand your point of view as obviously you can resell you physical copies but regarding digital ones, as Farscape wrote, it is another story... So for now you should probably avoid digital purchase waiting for a brighter future regarding the possibility to resell digital items.

because you don't actually own the game to sell, you only have a licence to play the game and licences are non transferrable.

why would a company allow you to sell a licence to a game which in the real world has no material value, besides the publishers and devs would all need to agree and they would also want a slice of the pie somehow.

More info: It seems x box is going to be pushing digital games. sony is giving you both with no ownership of the game. Meaning you can sell a PS4 game or trade it in whenever you want but you cannot on a x box one game without buying the rights to a game
that you already own. In my opinion this is huge. However if digital games are cheaper this may be a huge selling point for the x box one.
