Allow reviews on games you own on disc

Great. Is there a response that doesn't require me to go to a separate website, create a separate account, join a separate club, and then repost the exact same question that I should be able to get an answer to here?

That's because your games do not run off your disc.

Not even the ones you only own on disc.

You use the disc to install the game digitally to the Hard Drive of your XBox ONE.

Then because it's a disc copy that acts as your Digital Rights Management and allows you to play the game that is installed on your Hard Drive..

When you own the game digitally only this DRM allows access without the disc.

The store will say you don't own it because you didn't buy it digitally from the Xbox store.

but that doesn't explain why I can't rate my brand new game on its far cry 5 page you used to be able to rate new games that you got, its not allowing me to post it under Rating and Reviews section for this game or post of a review , since I do own the physical
version of this game that I just got from GameStop the other day.

it reads "You are unable to rate or review as you do not own this product." and also says Below product is installed. You can Play this game for now or buy it to own.

Again I do own it as the Physical Disc version of this game, I don't understand why I can't rate my Physical copy of this game, I don't have this problem with my other Physical Xbox games online, just this one copy of far cry 5 disc that I got this week from
my local GameStop's store is having this problem.

if you own a game is determined by the license, you own the game on disc, so the license is present on the Disc, which is why you will need to insert the disc into the console.

When a game is purchased digitally the license will be available on the account so that account wont require a disc to play the game.

The fact that a game is already fully installed doesn't change anything, since your account doesn't have the license on it it will still require the disc to play the game, since the disc contains the license.

In short you own the game disc and using that game disc will allow you to play the game, the only other way to play the game without the need of the disc is to own the game digitally, which requires you to purchase it digitally.

So in the current situation there is no way around taking the disc between the two houses
