Allow Keyboards to emulate Controllers

I doubt that it will be banned, But the fact that these adapter make keyboard and mouse emulate a controller does pose an issue since the Xbox thinks a controller is plugged in and allows for aim assist with keyboard and mouse.

We will just have to wait and see where this goes, I don't think we have to worry too much since Xbox now supports keyboard and mouse the sales for the adapters will soon start going down considerably if hasn't already.

Have you tried using the controler/keyboard emulator on your phone via the Xbox app? Just a suggestion to help get past that sign in screen..

It is a keyboard and mouse then isn't it and it's unlicenced and it never would be licenced. The mouse functions just like a mouse would in a P.C. game.

I kind of agree. I don't have an issue with folks using keyboard and mouse on the console for games provided they're are options to only match make with controller users etc.

On a side note you mention COD but I don't recall that being on the official k/m list so it would be likely that the users who are using it are using an emulator to try and get an advantage and cheat. Not something Microsoft allowed and probably very hard
to trace.

No as it's is up to the developer to allow or disallow keyboard and mouse

If you are playing pure pc games then you won't have an issue

If you use cloud or remote play you need a controller as the games are designed for controllers not keyboard or mouse
