    Allow game streaming to other devices is not available


    Hi, I'm trying to stream games from my xbox one to my computer. I've gone into settings and preferences, but the 'xbox app connectivity' button that I've read that I should be seeing is nowhere to be found. I have no Idea what to do, any help would be
    greatly appreciated.

    I have already checked this option. I checked Allow game streaming to other devices and allow play to streaming.

    Don't see how this actually would come as a problem...

    Anywho, try go into the Settings of your console and Preferences and make sure 'Allow game streaming to other devices' is unticked.
    It partially worked... For Windows 8.1 I don't get the device after I unchecked the Allow Play To streaming option. But on Windows 10 I still get the device (even with Allow Play To streaming & Allow game streaming to other devices unchecked).

    As for why... It is not really a problem. It doesn't seem correct behavior (and I blame Windows for that) to just create an endless amount of devices.

    Are you using the Xbox Console Companion on your PC trying to stream from Xbox or the Xbox Game Streaming (Preview)?

    Try going to Device connections on your Xbox and make sure Xbox is able to connect.

    Also check Allow Play To streaming and Allow game streaming to other devices.

    System > Devices & streaming > Device connections

    I don’t see ‘allow game streaming to other devices’ anywhere in settings as an option?

    Tried on phone and a tablet, IOS and android, and neither successful
