Allow child accounts on two family XBOX (One and One X) without parent account connected

    Hi,

I have two xbox (XBOX One and XBOX One X).

The XBOX One X is setup as my default XBOX device. On this one, my child can connect with their child account (as members of my family group). On the XBOX One, my child need me to be connected before the can play with their own account. This
means that every time they need me to use this xbox one.

How can I allow my childs to play on both of my xbox without sign-in with my parent account?

    Thanks.

    :)

It seems that the answer is in https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

When you change home consoles, all device licenses for digital content will move to your new home Xbox. These device licenses will no longer be available on your previous home Xbox. In other words, when
you switch your home Xbox, access to your content comes with you to your new home Xbox, and anyone signed in can enjoy it. Your previous home Xbox will still give your friends and family access to your stuff when you’re signed in to it.

Epic Games link to child's account

Incognito mode doesn't solve this. The issue seems to be that the process for connecting epic account to xbox requires logging into a microsoft account, BUT there is no microsoft login for a child account on xbox.

If the login flow added a step that allowed a parent to choose which one of their family xbox usernames to connect to epic, this would solve the issue.

    Hi there,

If you purchased the content on the parent account, then the DLC can only be accessed by the adult account. The only way the child account could access the DLC content is if both accounts are on the same Xbox and that the parent account has the Xbox set
as the Home console. This will allow digital content owned or purchased from the parent account to be shared with the child account or other accounts on the same Xbox. The parent account will also need to allow access to this content for the child account
due to the age rating of GTA 5.

Full information on the Xbox Home Console feature can be found
    here
    .

Allowing content restricted for child accounts can be done from
    https://account.microsoft.com/family/
or on the Xbox One when the child tries to access this content.

Recovering Accunt, Asked to recover 2 Xbox accounts

The reason you have two accounts come up is one is the parent account.

You'll want to check for sure which is the parent and which is the child. Try signing into your gamertag on the console and go to the setting hub (not through the guide menu) and select the family panel. If this account is the parent, it will show the child
account. You can select the child account and remove from family. That'll get rid of the second account.

If you do not see the second account in the family panel, that means your primary account is the child account and the email is actually tied to the parent.

How do I make it so my child can stream on Xbox series s when hes old enough but it says it will be disabled

Thank you for contact us! I'm Anderson, an Independent Consultant and a Microsoft user like you.

    good evening

If your child's Xbox Series S account is set up as a child account, there are a few steps you can take to allow your child to stream on the console when they are old enough.

Make sure that your child's account is linked to a parent account. If it is not already linked, you can link the child account to a parent account by going to "Settings" > "Account" > "Family" on the console, and then following the prompts to link the accounts.

Once the child account is linked to a parent account, the parent can change the privacy and online safety settings for the child account by going to "Settings" > "Account" > "Family" > "Manage family members" > [child's name] > "Privacy & online safety".

Under the "Privacy & online safety" settings, the parent can change the settings for "Online safety" and "Broadcasting". For example, the parent can allow the child to participate in multiplayer gaming and share content online, or allow the child to stream content.

If the parent account is not able to change the settings for the child account, it may be because the child account is set up as a "Younger child" account. In this case, the parent will need to request that the child's account be converted to a "Child" account. This can be done by going to "Settings" > "Account" > "Family" > "Manage family members" > [child's name] > "Change to a child account".

I hope this information helps you allow your child to stream on the Xbox Series S.
