All of my games and my saved status from my last Xbox console are missing

Next is to make sure that your game saves are synced with the cloud. To check on this, go to Settings > System > Storage > Cloud Saved Games and check if your game saves are listed there.

Then check for system updates. Go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads and check for updates.

if this happened on a Xbox 360 console and the save games were only on that external drive, then I'm afraid nothing can be done if the drive is indeed broken.

If this happened on a Xbox One then your save games are synchronized with Xbox Live (if the console is connected to Xbox Live) and you should be able to download the save continue the game on any Xbox One console.

ROADK1LL211's suggestion worked for me. I was able to go into my cloud in Systems > Storage and retrieve my Halo 4 saved games and move them to my local hard drive. I then started up Halo 4 and resumed where I left off.

Though, I am still crossing my fingers though that I can move the files back up into the Xbox saved game cloud when all the service issue(s) are resolved.
