All my xbox captures are missing

Hi,

recently, I was going through my xbox and realized that all my captures were missing. I was planning on using them for a school project. I went to the "On this xbox" section and it was completely empty. The only clips that are the one that were uploaded
to xbox live. I then tried to take a capture and it worked and it appeared on the "On this xbox". The clips were saved on my the hard drive on my xbox. the last time I saw them was probably 6 months ago, before I stopped playing and since then I haven't touched
my xbox at all.

I'm am 100% sure that i did not delete them, since i took a 6ish month break. I checked the App and only the clips that were previously uploaded were saved. I took a clip around 20 days ago, and it is now also missing.

Make sure to upload clips you need to save otherwise they might get deleted when new clips are being recorded.

Hi. Are you sure that you did not delete them? They might possibly delete over a certain period of time? Or you can also try checking your Xbox App on PC to see if they are still there. Make sure you download the clips to your PC so they do not get auto-deleted
overtime.

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. These captures are also missing from xbox.com and my xbox one s as well.

There's also two separate areas if you look close enough in your captures area. There should be an "On Xbox Live" drop down tab for all captures uploaded to Xbox Live and something along the lines of a "On this Xbox," often times captures can get made and
not uploaded after their taken. So be sure to check that out.

Also, by signing up for the website TrueAchievements... after it syncs with your profile for the first time it can actually pull all the captures on your Xbox 'off' in a sense and will show them on your profile on there. This occasionally helps with securing
'missing' captures.
