All my captured Game Clips turned into screenshots

"I even checked in my captures in my One Drive and they are not there."

Screenshots and clips are initially stored on the console HDD and are uploaded manually to OneDrive from the
Manage captures section of your profile or from the Community page.

It's not automatic like uploading shots and clips to XBLive if you have that setting enabled. Check
System>Settings>Preferences >Capture and share.

Capture game clips and screenshots may assist you.

Can you elaborate what method you are using to try and take screenshots?

When ingame do you press the Nexus button to bring up the Home Guide, then move to the right to Capture and share, then Capture>Capture a screenshot?

Capture game clips and screenshots provides support for this feature.

If you have a lot of clips on your console you may want to upload them to XBox Live so you can delete some of them from the console.

There is only a finite space for clips and shots stored on the console.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Forums. When you capture game clips on your Xbox One it starts to record automatically on screen. There would be no way to utilize a webcam to capture game clips.

This is because of your console settings. Go to settings > preferences > capture & share. Then select ‘Allow game captures by me’ (or select ‘don’t capture anything’ if it’s easier to just disable it completely), as this automatically includes games by default. This feature is less common with more recent titles. You shouldn’t encounter this at all once these settings are correctly updated and applied.

You can also adjust other capture/share preferences from this screen, such as the storage location, weather game captures are automatically uploaded to Xbox Live, the maximum resolution and time limit.
