All games wiped out, and "download gaming services" crashes xBox

I had about 25 games downloaded to my Windows xBox using Game Pass. Two days ago, all were gone.

In the course of these calls and online instructions, I've uninstalled and redownloaded and installed the xbox client. I have checked the various services that need to be in place. But still when I try to re-download the games I had installed, I get a cheery "Download Gaming Services" popup. I click it. I get a notification that it's been installed, and then the client crashes into nothingness. Rinse, repeat, pull out your hair.

Windows 10 is up to date. My bios is up to date. The xBox client is up to date.

I have twice had the issue escalated by xBox phone support and both times, the escalated calls simply disconnected. (No, there were no personality issues. All very friendly.) Now when I try to schedule a call back I'm told I'm over my quota. aaarrrgh.

Thanks for youre reply. It happens with a few games. Starts to load and then freezes during loading or at main menu.

Its on internal harddrive. Xbox is plugged into a power strip. I have wiped out the xbox without wiping out games and with wiping out games multiple times. I powered down and unpluggee power for 3 minutes. Clearee cache. Uninstaller games and re downloaded it. Switches to a different profile. Nothing has worked

As I’m wiping everything including all game data? I have done a system reset but kept downloaded games… it takes so long to download them all I didn’t want to wipe them off…

Apparently it IS you, not me.

. HTC 8x on TMO. Good thing it did not seem to wipe out my XBOX achievements in the game. BTW seems to have also wiped out all in progress games as well.

Unfortunately, a lot of people are having these issues with downloading games, or downloads starting and then wiping out, back to 0%. In the last 1-2 weeks, many games and services have been having difficulty connecting and working. It's highly due to
the current situation worldwide of so many people staying home and being on Xbox, much more than usual. The services are overwhelmed and I've read of many, many games not working right now. Just keep trying, as they are working on it, but in the mean time
you may have to try another game until services are returned to normal.
