All achievements for some games are showing as Japanese on Game Pass games played on Xbox...

Seems this is not the only game that for some reason decides to show the achievements in Japanese, I took a look around and Blue Dragon, Ninety Nine Nights and Tales of Vesperia among other games have all suffered from this issue.

Do they show as Japanese when you view your profile on Xbox.com? Some say they show ok on Xbox.com but not on the console.

This is all well and good, but TrueAchievements replied identical answer to the one you provided:

"This is probably related to your language and/or country setting on your console and/or your Microsoft account. Some games have localized achievement descriptions (for example, I see a lot of them in Dutch). Unfortunately, TrueAchievements is not affiliated with Microsoft and/or Xbox, so we're unable to solve this issue for you."

As side note to 'TheJokerJD's point, the game I provided the example picture for is mady by Polish developper, so no it should not be in Japanese.

And as extra fun information I live in Finland and have my language settings in EN (UK) and country setting as Finland. So either way there should be no reason for the Achievements to be in Japanese other than something wierd on the Microsoft server side of data handling.

Hello, The Achievements may be intended to be Japanese. This may be because the game was made in Japan but the Translate system might not have changed how Achievements looked.

First, with Waldo, when did you earn this achievement? Were you offline when you earned it? It doesn’t show up here on the website, so can you provide screenshots of where it shows missing and where it shows unlocked.

Regarding the Japanese titles showing on Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, are these Japanese games? Could you also provide screenshots of this as well. Do these Japanese titles only show up in achievements or do they show this way in the Quick Launch or My Games
