    All 360 games stopped working on XBox One and Series X


    Hi, I just got a Series X and installed my XBox One games on it, then started to install the 360 games that I already have on my Xbox One. I have played these classic 360 games on my Xbox One for years with no problems, but the Series X balked at them saying "Sorry this game isnt playable here" and giving the typical suggestion to look at the compatibility list. Example is COD World at War. The discs are as new condition and so I tried them in my Xbox One again and I got the same error as above, so now I cant play them in the XBox One either - what happened there? I did a restart of the Xbox One, and checked the Xbox servers were ok, and I cannot find any reason why these games are not playable anymore. Any thoughts?

    The BC team stopped working on 360 titles to bring all existing One games to series x. It is unknown if they will continue to work on 360 titles once series x releases.

    they have currently stopped all backwards compatability to focus on the xbox series x as i believe they are making all xbox one 360 and original games compatible on series x

    Hi Francypower4,

    going by what you have said, I'm guessing you asking if Xbox one x games will work for the series X? and if so that is correct some games have been confirmed for free upgrades to series x but all will be playable on the new console, including all games currently
    compatible with Xbox one. So all Xbox 360 and Xbox games included too.
