[/quote]As in the video I've just watched said, games like Amensia and Slenderman have no combat or killing yet it's still an exciting game to play. Not all games need combat or killing and if you feel a game needs it then simply don't buy it.

I'm just all for something new and not all about killing things. I can see how this game will make me feel tense all the way through, it's more cinematic and hopefully a more unique experience.

 

JUST REMEMBER that its a tech demo NOT an actual game demo tech demo are meant to look good with only few things to be shown and tease you

To the chap who said the Alien movies never had one Alien. On the contrary, the first one had exactly one Alien, and it spawned a legendary franchise which is a personal favourite of mine. I am apprehensive about this games replay value without any multiplayer
though.

 

^^ I wonder if they dropped the price somewhere between $40-$50 for SP only type games (leaving off tacked on MP's) if that would help sales by making players feel like it's worth it. Like you said replay value is a huge deal for most so maybe it could help
cut down on trade-ins as well.

 

Well I'm going to be careful with this game. I have Aliens Colonial Marines for the PS3...still haven't finished it yet. Definately not the game I was expecting. I will wait and not preorder this game unless I can get a free Hicks statue. I love Aliens....great

and they said at gamescom, that there adding a MP to survive against others... augh i said it on ign and now here they are messing the game up it looked really good even though its new tech demo{ which needs to go back and remade they showed alien warrior
walking straight up like they had stick up its rear} and walking like a human when it was coming out of the hallway which should been slightly hunched over... and the graphics looked like they took them downgraded a bit, although game play was there, it
i wasn't excited to hear about the mp being added, if they release the game please please fix the alien animations and model appearances at least...

but the game is good but i am still on the fence even with the new tech demo

 

Just to add to the part someone wrote about the movies not being about 1 alien. As other have said Alien was and to add so was Alien 3. So that's exactly half the Alien movies based on 1.

 

The game being focused around 1 alien will add to the suspense and the survival factor.

If you want mass murder go watch the movie Commando or play call of duty on recruit.

 

I may get this game since Shadows of Mordor, Evolve and Dragon Age were moved out of October. eh, I'll probably just flip a coin on release day.
