Age restrictions removal problems.

Defected from PS.....

Trying to set my son up on his new xbox. I've removed all the restrictions via family members and set age to 18 etc but he still keeps getting the ask a parent message to either play games or view content. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks again. Sign in and out didn't work. He's just tried to play among us online and got a message saying he couldn't and parent needs to customise xbox privacy settings in manage family members but I've done all that already?????

Great reply and good info.

Now I haven't changed his date of birth which is still set at 2008 but I've lifted all the restrictions I can and change age appropriate restriction to unrestricted. What we haven't tried is sign out and sign back in, so will try that next.

Also I've linked his XBox account to his epic game account for Fortnight but none of his skins etc have comes across any ideas?

He could try highlighting the game on the dashboard and press the start button on the controller then Manage. From there he clicks on the picture and chooses Select All then Save. This should install any extra content. Beyond that, if they were in game items he should try Epic support to see if they can help
