    Age of Empires IV 100% , but error 0x80073d0d


    AoE4 downloaded with Game Pass 100% (35.1GB) but the 100% goes orange and it's error 0x80073d0d If I download 4k videos error happens before videos start downloading. Install deleted, windows restarted, VPN disabled and tried without 4k videos but same happens.

    Usually the error 0x80073d0d is shown when you try to move system apps or files from one folder to another when they are not supposed to be moved. Receiving this error when installing a game may be caused by the user account not having enough privileges to install the game on the desired location.

    Would you please check if the default games and apps installation folder for your

    system is the same that you are using for the Xbox app?

    - Go to Start (Windows Start) -> Settings -> System -> Storage -> Change where new content is saved (under 'More Storage Settings'). Change the setting "New Apps will install to:" to the drive you want to use.

    If the installation path is the same on your system settings and on the Xbox app, please check inside the Xbox app the default folder for games installation. It is usually the WindowsApps or XboxGames folder. Go to the correct folder and change its permissions:

    - Locate the XboxGames or WindowsApps folder. Right-click on it and select Properties.

    - Go to the Security tab and select Advanced.

    - Click on Continue in the Permissions tab.

    - Select Change.

    - Click Advanced in the Select User or Group window, then Find now.

    - Select your user account and click on Ok.

    - Click on Ok and Apply on every window and close them.

    After making the changes, restart the computer and check if you still receive the same error message when trying to install Age of Empires or download your 4k videos.
