age of empires 4 redemption code on microsoft.com/redeem

Trying to redeem code for Age of Empire 4 on microsoft.com/redeem. the code I have out of the box is 20 digits long, and the website is asking for a 25 digit code. I have also bought this game from a legitimate retailer (JB HIFI). Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi D_C_S_1963, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

With Microsoft it is by default that the code is a 25-digit code, if it's only 20 digits long it means that it is supposed to be redeemed on a different site or gaming store.

Kindly check the card for the instruction or try to reach out to the retail store where you purchased it.

After they email you the 25 digit code, you would go to http://redeem.microsoft.com to redeem the code.

I can't seem to find the bit where I redeem the code. Im trying to use on my PC through the Microsoft store. What am I doing wrong?

You would have to redeem it at the site listed and they will send you the 25 digit code for Xbox.

You should be able to redeem the code on the Windows 10 store, or on the web here: https://microsoft.com/redeem

Once redeemed, you will be able to download form the store.
