On Xbox App, the base game file size is 86.21GB while the free Age of Empires IV: 4K HDR Video Pack is 132.44GB.

Yes, Xbox app on the PC

Well, Tried that. But it got stuck as paused, don't know if because of something I did wrong, or the game (Age of Empires 4 + HDR) also downloaded the original game.

And then the disk was deleted by mistake, so now it's a theoretical question for another time

Yes, on the page where you can see "Age of Empires IV + 4K HDR Video Pack" please scroll down and you will see "Included on this bundle" click on the first one and you should be able to install just the base game.
