Age of Empires 3 DE offline

Hello, I own aoe3 de and when Itry to launch the game it stucks on initial loading screen, prompting me to log in because I m not connect to internet. I already unchecked and checked offline permissions to xbox app and ms store whilst connect to the internet resulting to have only one more time to change this setting in the next year.. But still when I try to run the game offline I can't. Any help would be much appriciated.

About not appearing in the Xbox app. May I know if you tried searching for the game directly by using the Windows search feature?

For this, just press the Windows key and start typing the name of the game.
If you see a result, please click on it and verify if the game runs without problem.

I did it and as soon as the ms store came up I went to update and suddenly had 34 updates...

I then resigned in to the xbox app and launched the game with internet connection once, then without and it worked, but when I launch the game without beeing online it takes a lot more time to start and also I don't have access to it through the xbox app, I need to go to find the .exe file of the game in the game's folder and launch it from there.

Hello Manuela,

I do not have access to my library at all when I am not connect to the internet. All I get is that message on the second screen on loop. WHen I am connected to the internet, everything is fine. I am at a point where I am starting to fill very furstrated because I want offline access at my games that I paid and own.

Would I know if your PC appears as a linked device in the Microsoft Store device management page?

If affirmative, please try this possible solution:

1. Sign out from your account on the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store

2. Reset the Microsoft store cache using the wreset.exe command.

Additionally, please double-check if everything is up-to-date via Windows Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update > click on “Get updates”.

You can check for Updates via the Microsoft store.

3. Once everything is up-to-date, sign in with your account on the Xbox app and the Microsoft Store

4. Finally, open the Xbox app and try playing a game with internet. Then disconnect your internet connection temporarily, and try opening the game one more time by using the Xbox app again.
