Me too. I think we should be able to prepay and order direct from Microsoft. I would rather wait knowing it is paid and will eventually show up at my house instead of this frantic online sniping and constantly getting shut down. 5 of us in a group haven't been able to get one!

None of these "Ambassadors" are going to be able do anything or offer any piece of mind. No one cares that one person on ebay has gotten 51 units sold for 799. None of them care that there are actually some passionate games out there. They are just the megaphones of an unmonitored forum. Mouthpieces at best.

You can place orders but not the way you think

Retail sales is ms stores purview and also sold based on limited quantities

People complain about a week delay based on the pandemic delaying everything what makes you think they will accept ms holding onto their cash for a month or so till the next restock

Some of these replies are insane. I played as an ambassador briefly - none of you are involved in sourcing, manufacturing, selling or shipping the consoles. Don't guess. It makes things worse.

This console was advertised and reported on for years prior to release. We are now 5 months past the release date, and your advice to people who can't get one is "you just aren't clicking fast though." If anyone in this thread doesn't "understand" the situation, it's not the people looking for relief. The complaint is legitimate, and they're no excuse for this.

Oh, and Microsoft has stated this will continue until June. I don't care l happening with the PS5; if I did, I would complain about it to Sony.

For being an ambassador you seem to be taking a very harsh and personal offense to what I said. How is your Xbox series X doing? It is not about being fast when places like wal-mart lets people steal them out of your cart. My wife finally got one in the cart and hit checkout and it was gone.

As for you Obsessive Power you are right scalpers are only part of the problem...Microsoft is the rest of it because they refuse to take steps to correct the retail problems because they got theirs and the money to go along with it. Since it doesn't hurt the bottom line and actually supports and bolsters it so they don't care who is getting screwed because it sure isn't them.
