AG10: Need to turn resolutions down on Xbox for it to work as nothing on screen

Try holding the power and eject buttons together until you hear 2 beeps. This resets teh resolution to default.

I understand that you're trying to reset the resolutions on your Xbox 1.

If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
reset on your console by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console. [KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS]

Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in.

There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter.

If your unable too do the steps above because your just see a blank/black screen. You can force a reset by

turn off the console and unplug for 30 seconds

plug back in and press the bind and eject and button togethor and press the power btton at the same time. Keep holding the bind and eject buttons dont let go and the console should show a troubleshoot screen where you can choose reset this xbox. I would
advise you 1st try keeping your games and apps and if that doesnt help then do the same again but remove everything

I tried getting to the low resolution screen and that wouldn’t work and so I plugged it into a different tv and I can now see the screen I also turned down the resolution settings

I have seen forum posts for people saying they experienced flickering blue or black screens in game and that changing the in game resolution helped fix it. They were using UHD Tv's and turning the resolution down to 720p in game worked.
