    Hello all,

Follow these steps to open the NAT type on your XBox One console.

First, write down the ip address of your XBox and set aside; as you will need this.

    Second, Log into your router.

Third, Find your firewall settings and locate DMZ

Fourth, Select DMZ Host; then select enable.

Fifth, you will enter the last octet of your ip address in the last box that is not filled.

    Sixth, Click on Apply.

Last, Click on apply again; and select DMZ Host. This will save the changes to the router.

Now, restart your XBox; once it is up.

    Go to Settings; Network Settings.

Here you should see it says NAT type open.

If you see this; you are done. Congrats.

Load your game as normal and you should have access to the EA Servers without issue.

    Have a great day.

    :)

nat type nd upnp not successful

    Hi Lily,

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums!

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you may be experiencing with the NAT Type. It is a bit confusing the way this
is wording. So you are having an issue on the console and cannot use a laptop to change the router settings for the UPnP?

    Try
    this troubleshooting step :
    Xbox One Multiplayer Game Solution.
    I
    would suggest
    creating a static IP
    for the console, too.
Once you do that, you can
    port forward the
    connection.

    • A network port lets your Xbox One console communicate with the Xbox Live servers and other Xbox One consoles over the Internet.
    • To let your Xbox One
      console
communicate with Xbox Live, you might have to open or forward ports, which means you'll be making a configuration change to your firewall or network hardware, such as a router.

    Please
let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I
    hope this helps.

    NAT TYPE UPNP NOT SUCCESSFUL

Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

Hope you're doing great today despite this Onna

If you have access to the router please disable temporarily UPnP and then enable it.
After that power cycle your console and see if the issue persist or not:

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

After that, try to remove and re-add your profile on the console.

In case you need it, here's how to remove and re-add:

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

If the issue persist you may need to reach your ISP in order to solve this

NAT type strict UPnp not successful

This is all linked some services are not working correctly. All I can suggest is to unplug your router and do a full power cycle of your Xbox once the router has restarted, make sure UPNP is enabled on your router and you should see your NAT open.

Nat Type Moderate (UPnP not successful)

    hi there,

go to this site so you can fix it https://portforward.com/
I already opened my ports and it might have been because I was downloading a game or the new router was updating as they said.
