Afterglow headset USB not recognized

Discus and support Afterglow headset USB not recognized in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So i have a couple afterglow headsets. Everything worked just fine up until saturday, june 27.     Afterglow headset USB not recognized


    So i have a couple afterglow headsets. Everything worked just fine up until saturday, june 27. Ive done all the troubleshooting steps i can find. Headset is charged. Volume is up. Not muted. The headset is connected to the USB bluetooth plug in.

    Ive disconnected power to the xbox, waited 30 seconds and turn back on. This one worked for about 2 minutes, the first time i tried it. The usb plug in was recognized, then it was unrecognized while loading up my game. Ive tried it several more times, with
    no luck.

    Ive done the factory reset. No luck. Ive tried all this with my other headset also. I finally got my headsets to work, with a 3.5mm jack directly into my controller. The headset is normally just bluetooth directly to console, not the controller.

    if anyone has any suggestions, im open.

    Using a usb mic

    I used to have an Afterglow wireless USB headset and that worked fine. Only thing you can do is try.

    It only works on the USB port, the P2 port does not recognize?
    It recognizes the headset, but I've just had to unplug and plug back in the usb into the Xbox for it to assign the headset again.

    Bluetooth won't allow for wireless headsets like you think. I have a PS4 which has bluetooth and my wireless headset for it requires the USB dongle with it and a cable that goes from the USB dongle to the optical out port on it. (turtle beach 500p) I have
    a wireless one for my X1 as well (afterglow AG9) and it just has the USB dongle.

    Thanks for keeping us updated. Have you considered using a
    stereo headset adapter    ? Most times if the headset is not being recognized at all, its the 3.5mm jack. Also what type of controller and headset are they? Ex. Microsoft, astro, afterglow, turtle beach.

    Dear Microsoft, please do something with your products!!!

    The Afterglow AG7 headset is manufactured by PDP, a third-party company. Microsoft has no part in manufacture of the headset, other than "officially licensing" it.

    You will need to browse through PDP support (Afterglow AG7 support page) to troubleshoot your headset problems.
