After update my Xbox is really slow to start and games are timing out before loading

Yeah I've tried that and still no luck I even did the cache reset and some improvement but still same issues.

I have done the power cycle more than once and it still didn't fix the issue. Its also in apex legends as well i can load into the game but its lagging and sound for everything is completely off

If I do the reset will I lose progress in games n such. I’ve done a reset where I kept the games and that did not fix it.

I power cycled console and that seemed to fix the issue for now. After the last update, I had to do this as well and then dealt with game freeze constantly. Even when playing offline. If this is a new common issue I will switch consoles to something with less issues.

Then, I dont know. Did you clean your xbox? Maybe you should try it. I have done it but didnt solved the issue, maybe in your case, it will be the solution.
