    After the last update (on August 2nd, 2023) unable to start the MS Solitaire & Casual Games...


    After the last update (on August 2nd, 2023) unable to start the MS Solitaire & Casual Games app. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, fix through the Windows. Nothing helped. What else should I do?

    I have the same problem but mine seams to have occurred post a Win 11 security update.

    Thanks for confirming this info. As the issue started right after the latest update, that’s most likely the reason for the crashes and the developers can advise further. You can always share this thread with them for reference.

    Sorry, the Independent Advisor’s reply is misleading.

    I don’t believe there’s currently any known issues with the Microsoft Solitaire and Casual Games app crashing/failing to launch. I’ve checked Windows known issues, Microsoft Solitaire Known Issues and their official support page @MSCasualGames on Twitter, and I can’t find anything confirming that they’re aware of this and there also aren’t many reports indicating the same error.

    Any recent changes to your setup? Have you installed any third party software since the last app update?

    What Windows version and OS Build are you currently on? Press the Windows key + R, type winver in the Open box, then select OK, or go to Settings > System > About for more detailed info with your PC specs.

    Which version of Windows operating system am I running? - Microsoft Support

    Regardless of the above, you would need to submit a request to Microsoft Casual Games Support to properly address the issue. Be sure to include as much info as possible so that they can help. You should receive an email response from the team in a few days.
