After recent update Halo Wars 2 crashes

After the latest update on PC halo wars crashes on campaign start up screen.

It was also crash at the end of multiplayer matches.

Not sure what is going on, I know it took 4 attempts to download the update from the Microsoft store.

No problems with the game before the update.

Halo Wars 2 at E3 2016

After the recent leak Microsoft have issued an official statement saying that we'll see more of Halo Wars 2 at E3.

Microsoft: “We look forward to showing Halo Wars 2 to the world at E3.”

Exciting stuff!

Fair warning the Halo wars 2 beta is a bit laggy and will sometimes crash. Just a heads up.

I know this isn't going to be an ideal step but can you please try reinstalling Halo Wars 2 to see if that resolves the crashing issue?

If that doesn't work, post back and we'll try something else.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, except this time right after it loaded my cloud saved data it crashed and now it wont boot at all.

Please advise.
