After playing & enjoying Mahjong for a week ive lost my scores & now i can't sign in.

Well, now the Deember score has reversed to zero and I am giving up on the daily challenges in Mahjong. What's the point if this keeps happening? It was something I enjoyed for a while since getting Win 8 some 3-4 weeks ago, Bad PR Microsoft!

Yes I am connected and have signed into the Microsoft account first before playing. The Xbox icon says "signing in" then displays as not signed in and asks you to install the program for free to activate the game. Have done this and lost a whole month in
Sudoku so have kicked that program, in Mahjong it makes no difference whether I choose Install or Cancel . If i choose Install it tries to make me switch to a Microsoft account for the PC, then it says to sign into the Store and change your account preferences.
I haven't been able to do this on the local account because It says I'm not connected to the internet even though obviously I am otherwise I wouldn't be able to get that far. I've been trying for 20 minutes to sign in and randomly it's now started working,
says I'm signed in and recovered all of the medals and achievements!! This is the first time in a week this has happened. I have lost all of my high scores 2 other times previously that have not been recovered though. Every time it's a different result. While
trying out Microsoft Mahjong again and writing this, I deleted then reinstalled Solitaire and got back some but not all of the history. It seems to have lost everything played and won from the days after 8th April. I need to know how to make these games stay
stable?

Same thing happened to me so I signed out then downloaded my profile. Got all my score/achievements back pre-wipe, but lost the ones I'd got after my score vanished without me realising, so now I have a few hours worth of gaming to do again.

You don't understand. There was an update that went through. Lets you sign in without being connected to XBOX live. The 3 apps that I mostly play all day are AlphaJax, Microsoft Solitaire and Microsoft Mahjong. I have 11 XBOX app's presently that I am using.
Now I Can't even sign in in them. All it says is signing in. If I click on it after hours of it saying signing in It says not signed in with an X. I keep getting pop-ups saying for scores to count to sign in. I have windows 8.1 on PC. I could only get here
via the internet. I can go the games, (via the internet) but I can't view any games nothing. I get blank screen with spinning dots! XBOX game apps are my favorite to play. The only one that isn't affected is the AlphaJax one. Up in games I still have my achievements
earned. In the App's They all have reset or you can't get past the sign in screen pop up (Asphalt7).

My Mahjong has 2 games blacked out and I bought another one and it's the same .

Free cell and score attack can't be opened.

What is UP with this???
