After my last windows update, my controller's wireless function broke! What am I supposed to ...

I am having the same exact issue and have even tried older drivers, I don't think that many people play with a controller or are on latest versions of windows so nobody has noticed yet. But ya it's a dumb bug currently, hopefully someone can help us .

I am having the same issue. Bluetooth Controller worked like a charm before. Since the spring update, the Controller connects but it doesn´t Register any Input, not in Steam not in xbox app. Sometimes i got it work in steam for About 15 seconds. then it
was broke again.

I seem to have finally stumbled onto the problem myself after a week of struggle.

Lurking under the optional updates section of Windows Update was an update for the Microsoft Wireless Adaptor. That was the issue. Updated and that's solved it. No idea why the *adaptor* driver affected the ability to use the controller via wire or Xbox Accessories' ability to recognise the existence of the controller via wire either but never mind. If you've got this issue, that's what the problem is.

Never once thought the Adaptor was the problem because it still functioned fine with the old, regular, Xbox Controller. How I was supposed to know that was the issue, I'll never know.

I am having the same issue the Chatpad blinking an orange light. after updating the controller on windows 10, it still does not function.

Same problem here. Windows update 19041.508 broke the xbox 360 wireless receiver controller and now it won't work at all.
